At DPD Ireland, we're proud to have supported the Jack and Jill Foundation by hosting LEGO collections at all our depots across the country. The initiative has helped fund vital home nursing care for seriously ill children in Ireland.
The Jack and Jill Foundation called on families, pre-schools, schools, and businesses nationwide to donate any unwanted LEGO bricks, big or small, by dropping them into DPD depots nationwide.
Access for All operates an innovative marine service, offering people with disabilities exclusive access to lakes and rivers through a specially adapted boat.
DPD Ireland supports the project with funding for human resources and a new facility in Lough Ree, Co. Roscommon, which opened in February 2023. We’re extremely proud of our collaboration with Access For All, which has empowered over 3,000 people with challenging disabilities to enjoy water-based activities and experiences.
In 2023, we were delighted to be named winner of the Partnership with Social Enterprise Award for our partnership with Access For All, at the Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards.
We’re honoured to partner with Our Shoes, a wonderful organisation dedicated to collecting donations of used runners from schools all over Ireland. Together, we’ve been working to ensure that preloved runners from across the country reach children in South Africa, bringing comfort, hope, and opportunity with each pair. By facilitating these collections, we’re helping Our Shoes make a meaningful difference in young lives, one step at a time.
We’re proud to be making a visible difference together.
